About Me

I am a highly experienced pianist, I've played in numerous settings across the UK such as weddings, funerals, and department stores.  I absolutely adore playing for people, and my greatest passion in life is finding expression and freedom through the piano  

Whether you're looking for a pianist for your wedding, special event or occasion, or in a more regular setting, I would be honoured to provide my services to you and entertain your guests 

I'm extremely well versed in a variety of styles ranging from pop hits (such as John Legend and Burt Bacharach), to classical music especially from the Romantic Period such as Liszt and Chopin, to many of the most beloved jazz standards including Misty, All The Things You Are, and many more  

Born and raised in a house with the piano at the heart of it, I have been playing the piano for over 30 years.  I initially trained as a classical pianist, and since then I've gone on to deeply explore and re-train in many of the numerous formats that the piano can offer.  I also compose (with my compositions having been used on Radio 4) and play regularly in pop bands and jazz groups

I am based in Derbyshire and cover the surrounding areas, including Sheffield, Manchester and Leeds, and happily also travel further afield
